Sustainability
It's not just sloths' habitats that are at risk if we don't take better care of things. The whole planet is at risk ultimately and we could have a whole The Day After Tomorrow situation on our hands, with no Jake Gyllenhaal to save us. With that in mind, at The Sober Sloth we're doing our absolute best to operate sustainabily. We hope you'll support us with these efforts! Postal Boxes
The boxes we use to send deliveries around the country are provided by the good folks at Beer Box Shop. Their boxes are 100% recyclable and FSC-sourced which means that the forest that the packaging comes from is forest is managed in an environmentally friendly, socially beneficial and in an economically viable manner. lovely.
Gift Boxes
The superstars at Tiny Box Company provide our gift box packaging. Everything in their range is either recycled, recyclable, reusable or compostable. Specifically this packaging is made from 62% recycled material and is 100% recyclable and compostable. Lush.
Packaging Tape
Our custom packaging tape is lovingly created
from Kraft paper which makes it eco-friendly and recyclable. Boom. It features The Sober Sloth, an Alcohol-Free loving sheep and a cartoon interpretation of Ramsbottom's famous Peel Tower on Holcombe Hill.
Leaflets
Our printed materials come from Vista Print. They're cutting carbon emissions, practicing responsible forestry and installing greener technology, all of which will hopefully lead to their pledge to be Carbon Neutral by 2040. They also created our large sign if you happen to have seen our stall in real life.
Protective Packaging
To keep our products safe on the move, we fill our boxes with recycled cardboard and paper shredding. This eliminates the need to use any form of plastic protective packaging such as bubblewrap which can be tricky to dispose of responsibly.
Be careful when your order arrives as this packaging will be loose, but it means all your hangover-free treats will arrive safe and sound.
Paper Bags
100% fully recyclable paper bags are provided at our stalls for anyone buying just one or two treats. The supplier is committed to sustainable sourcing. Even the ink & stamp we use to pop our logo on is vegan friendly from an organisation committed to going plastic-free
Beer Mats
Our custom beer mat providers use 100 renewable energy, vegetable ink and sustainable materials. They're made using paperboard, so you can stick them in the recycling too when they've served their purpose. Although why would you. They're beautiful. Cherish them forever.
