How it started
I gave up drinking a couple of years ago. The hangovers were getting a bit much and it felt like so much of my time and money was being spent on alcohol.
Days and whole weekends could be lost to booze, even after just a few pints, although it was rarely just a few pints. I started wondering what the point was of drinking. How could I live life to the fullest if I was just drunk or hungover for so much of it? Well, quite frankly, I couldn't. So I cut it out, and sought out a fresh approach to drinking - the alcohol-free approach.
Cutting back on alcohol shouldn't mean missing out though - on choice, on quality, on finding new favourites, or on a sense of community. And so The Sober Sloth was born. And now, I'm on a journey to bring that choice and that quality of alcohol-free drinks to anyone who wants to enjoy a more mindful approach to drinking. Whether it's a revitalising, exciting mocktail, a relaxing CBD drink, a crisp glass of non-alcoholic wine or a flavour-packed AF lager or IPA, The Sober Sloth is here to help. There's an ever-growing range of incredible AF options, from independent brewers & creators around the country and indeed around the world. We focus specifically on those independent creators too - the ones that put their hearts and souls into their drinks, because they love it - not the big brands just trying to get a slice of the AF cake.
In a nutshell, whatever your tastes, your preferences or your favourite flavours, there is an alcohol-free drink out there to suit you and it's my mission to bring it to you.
